Carlos Morales is an NBA Analyst for ESPN International and ESPN Deportes. Prior to working for ESPN, Carlos was a coach for more than 20 years in all levels, from the equivalent of AAU, in his native Puerto Rico, to High School, College, and Professional Basketball.
|
He coached professionally in Venezuela, the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico.
Carlos served as coach of the Puerto Rican National Team for 10 years (3 as assistant and 7 as head coach), and took them to numerous international tournaments, including 3 tournaments of the Americas (San Juan '93, Argentina '95, and Uruguay 97), 2 Pan-American Games

(Cuba '91 and Argentina '95) 2 Olympic Games (Barcelona '92 and Atlanta '96), 3 World Championships (Argentina' 90, Toronto '94, and Athens '98), 3 Goodwill Games competitions (Seattle '90, Russia '94, and New York '98), as well as one World Championship for 22 and under (Australia '97).

| He has won championships in every level of basketball he has coached, including 3 in the professional leagues of Puerto Rico, and 22 medals (9 gold, 11 silver, and 2 bronze) in international tournaments.
As an instructor, Carlos has conducted clinics in Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama, Guatemala, Venezuela, the Dominican Republic, Uruguay, Argentina, the United Arab Emirates, and Puerto Rico.
Carlos is married and lives in Orlando, Florida with his wife, Awilda, and three children; Carol (19), Carlos Jr. (15), and Javier (12).
